Since our founding 13 years ago, we’ve had many who became a part of our community and helped build it to what we know of, today. We pride ourselves for sticking to our values and mission – to continue empowering and uplifting others through jewellery making, and providing a safe space for all. Not just for us fellow wise adults but also for many young students as well.

Younglings who have shown an interest in jewellery were entrusted to us by their loving and supportive parents who wanted to give them an opportunity to experience a holistic education with us at our jewellery making workshops.

This is because our jewellery making academy goes beyond teaching just the technical skills; we strive to provide a holistic education that also encompasses life skills which are vital for a well-rounded development of our young and impressionable Young Masters.

In group picture (above) from right: We have tall but young 13/15 year old who first came to our hobby beginner classes with her supportive mother who then signed her up for our Professional Jewellery Design Course for her to spend her time wisely, doing what she love, during the upcoming semester break.

And little TZE, who is only 15, and attended the Workdshop of the Month, spending quality time with her mother (next to her) and her grandmother (not in picture).

In our jewellery making classes, we will expose them to various styles and techniques in jewellery making which will help broaden the students’ appreciation for the art of the craft and encourage them to explore different aesthetics, and develop their artistic sensibilities. The course structure is designed especially to emphasise the creative process involved in designing and crafting jewellery which also encourages critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Students will learn to think outside the box and overcome challenges in innovative ways. There is an intricate nature to the art of jewellery and jewellery making. It requires keen attention to detail and perseverance and the students will learn the importance of this skill in achieving their goals and to refine their skills. Moreover, the meticulous nature of jewellery making would also instil discipline and focus in our young learners.

With the humble community we’ve built, the engaging environment would foster improved communication skills by conversing with our other students who come from all walks of life. While working on their jewellery making with others, it would encourage them to express and exchange ideas, listen to others, and effectively communicate their thoughts.

With all of these in mind, and through mastering new techniques, creating unique pieces wholeheartedly; it will boost the students’ self-confidence. And with the ability to express themselves through their masterpieces, it will also enhance their self-esteem and foster a sense of accomplishment -as they will receive certification of graduation.

Of course, there will always be room for improvement, and as we learn and grow together, adapting with the constant flow of change, it is our hope and dream to be able to continue being a safe space for all and be able to provide quality holistic education through jewellery making.
