Mothers share a special bond with their children, it doesn’t matter if they share blood or not, a mother’s love and care for her children is unmatched. However, time flies in a blink of an eye, soon, the little ones will grow up and have their own adult responsibilities and won’t be able to spend much time with their parents. So, what can you do to get closer with your children?

Spend some quality time bonding with your children over an activity that both of you will enjoy!

You could go on a lunch date together, maybe a walk in the park, or share your hobbies with them. For instance, some of our students’ who have a passion for making jewellery brought along their children with them to our jewellery making workshops.

Who says jewellery making is just for girls!

Kim is a kool mum! You can tell when a good man is raised right when you see how well they treat their parents, mothers, especially. From what we’ve seen, Luvell is a good son that adores his mother, and enjoys spending time with her. Since it was their first time trying their hand at making jewellery, we recommended them to sign up for our Fresh Water Pearl Series and Cova Series. Don’t they have such sweet smiles 🙂

Distance makes the heart grow fonder.

Here, we have two daughters who took time out of their busy schedule to spend some time with their Peruvian mother who stays in East Malaysia. Their mother, Jacqueline has always had an affiliation to arts and crafts but have never tried making elegant jewellery before this, so Jessica and Elizabeth made the arrangements to join our elegant jewellery making workshop with their mother -learning the art of the craft. The mother did our Fresh Water Pearl Series and the daughters did our Cova Series in pink and blue.

Meet Milly, she has a passion for making jewellery, so her dear mother, Arpana, wanted to support her and signed both of them up for our Cova Birthstone Series Workshop at Shangri-La, KL. It’s like killing two birds with one stone! They got to spend some quality time together while learning how to make elegant jewellery and then some.

Next up, we have another triple threat. Daughter, Kimberly helped to sign up her aunt, her mother, and herself for our jewellery making workshop in Shangri-La, KL. They wanted to spend some quality time together while her aunt, Josephine, from East Malaysia was visiting them.

Jo shared that she has tried jewellery making a long, long time ago and has expressed interest to rekindle her passion for making jewellery. It’s never too late to begin again, even if you’ve forgotten what you’ve learnt before, learning is a never-ending journey. Keep striving to learn new skills, hone them, and enjoy the journey, one step at a time, you’ll get to where you need to go.

Saturdays,15th & 29th October 2023

Last but not least, our dear mothers’ in KK who have signed up for our jewellery making workshop. On the 15th, Mrs DygZiah and her daughter came to class for the Crystal Series Workshop and Fresh Water Pearls Workshop. They came in vlogging their time attending our workshop that day. It was so adorable, you can tell they have a close bond with each other.

The same can be said about Annie and the sweet little boy. He had to tag along with her that day while she did her Lollipop workshop. It is nice to see how she included him to be part of her hobby. He even helped her to make her lollipop jewellery; tried his hand at creating a swirl for a lollipop bead. So glad we managed to capture the moment of them bonding at our workshop.
